Södermanland

Södermanland, or Sörmland as it's locally known, is a historical province on the south eastern coast of Sweden, a place where history and nature intertwine in a captivating dance. It's a land that's been shaped by the hands of time, from the Stone Age settlements to the medieval churches and runestones that dot the landscape. The province is a tapestry of water-filled hollows and woods, with the highest point being Skogsbyås at 124 metres. The terrain is flat, but the scenery is anything but, with the Baltic Sea to the east and Lake Mälaren to the north.
