Studenci
Journeying through the breathtaking Neretva river canyon, we found ourselves in Studenci, a place that feels like it's been plucked straight from a postcard. The highlight here is undoubtedly the Kravica waterfall, a spectacular tufa cascade on the Trebizat River that's a sight to behold. It's a place where nature's power and beauty converge, creating a spectacle that's both awe-inspiring and humbling. And if you're feeling adventurous, you're just a stone's throw away from the Croatian border, a mere three-minute drive.

Kravica waterfall
Nestled within the verdant landscapes of Studenci, the Kravica waterfall is a sight to behold. The journey to the waterfall is an adventure in itself, with the small road for the 1 Mark train down and back offering more picturesque views than the steps, though the latter does get you there faster and as you descend, you'll find viewpoints scattered along the steps, each offering a unique perspective of this natural wonder.
On any given day, you might like we did, spot a biker gang taking a dip in the waters, their leathers discarded for a moment of respite. The waterfall itself is reminiscent of Krka in Croatia, which isn't surprising given that it's a short drive to the border. The roar of the water cascading down, the cool mist in the air, and the lush greenery all around make Kravica waterfall a must-visit when you're near Studenci.
Restaurants & Bars
Two or three cafe/bars are at the foot of the steps, some dealing with the rising water levels swamping their seating. They’re similar in offering, from coffee and ice cream to typical Bosnian meals.

I stopped for a quick cappuccino here, and watched the water fall from the waterfall.
