Pokhara
We got up early and took the purple bus to Pokhara. The non-day bags were loaded onto the roof, and I can only hope nothing breakable was in there because they were hurled up with some force!
We stopped for a drink at a lovely little cafe on the roadside with various levels of terrace for use. After a cake and a few photos it was back on the road.
I also had an audience for my nocturnal imagery. Two of the tour were on the balcony threatening me with water balloons and two hotel employees were watching me with a great curiosity as I lay on my back peering into the viewfinder. In fairness to reduce camera shake, I kept the tripod low, so was forced to lay down.
After getting fed up with the clouds, I went to bed and to watch a little Al Pacino pretending to be blind
Several of us stopped in a cafe when we arrived for a latte and to rest our weary feet before a short wander around to see more than just the lake at Pokhara.
Lunch was at a nice terrace restaurant and after eating to build up strength it was back o the bus for the five and a half hour journey to Chitwan.
