Malaika Tattoo
My reason for heading all the way up to Kendwa Rocks on my final day in Zanzibar was to get a tattoo done based on a photograph I took from Barranco Camp looking up at Uhuru Peak before we started on Barranco Wall and the day of hell. There are only a few tattoo parlours on the island and Malaika was great, easy to book via WhatsApp, very engaged in the process and designed up the art really well.
The shop was clean, the artists professional, and I love the result.
Full Moon Party
Every month on the full moon, a huge party is held in the Kendwa Rocks hotel with people from all over the islands coming to the beach. If you like a huge event, this is for you.
